I haven't had a lot of friends
I don't really need them.
At least not all the time
To tell me things I don't
Believe or want to hear. 
Then the phone rings, 
You say "Hello!"
We chat and chatter. 
Oh, I am so glad you bothered me
To share a little of your day. 
I know I've never had a friend who
